The 2022 seasons harvest was a tough one for both Yuzu and Olives. Extremely low yields on the trees this season made for a lower oil yield (nearly 50% less than the 2021 year).
Made from NZ grown organic Yuzu (Horowhenua) and Frantoio Olives (Kapiti Coast). Midori (meaning green in Japanese) Yuzu Olive Oil uses green Yuzu fruit.
The Yuzu and Olives are cold pressed together, using the traditional agrumato method to extract all the fragrant juices and oils of the fruits.
A true celebration of the unique, intense Yuzu citrus flavours underpinned by the herbal flavours of fresh NZ olive oil. Use as a finishing oil for drizzling in seafood, chicken, fresh vegetables, salads, breads. Use in desserts and baking too.
